Hey, I'm Genesis Alvarez, editorial and destination wedding photographer, I'm a storyteller with a camera, capturing the magic of love in weddings and portraits. (All Love Stories) More than just capturing photos, I create lasting memories that celebrate the enduring power of love.

I’m an adventurous thalassophile - a lover of the sea and soft golden light, drawn to the quietly romantic and the beautifully imperfect. I live for those organic, unposed moments that tell real stories.

Photography, to me, is all about connection with people, emotions, and stories. It’s about noticing the subtle gestures, the fleeting glances, and the way light wraps around a moment. My work centres on capturing the honest beauty, the stories, the emotion, all the in-between moments, the ones that truly reflect who you are. My work focuses on love in all its forms: Couples, Families, Motherhood, Pregnancy, and life itself.

My goal is to make your experience relaxed and meaningful while I quietly capture the magic that will be felt through your photos forever.

What began as a way to document my own family soon grew into something much bigger - a creative journey filled with passion, light, and endless stories of love.

Life with three little ones is loud, messy, and often a little chaoticbut it’s in that chaos that I’ve learned what really matters. The cuddles, the tears, the laughter, the in-between moments that no one plans for… that’s the good stuff. It’s shaped not only who I am, but how I see everything.

I’ve never been drawn to perfect — I’m drawn to real.
Slow mornings, salty air, wind on my skin, and heading out to find horses, they truly feed my soul. Those quiet, grounding moments in nature bring me back to myself. That’s where life feels most honest to me.
I’m always chasing that feeling, camera in hand (usually more than one, if I’m being honest), trying to hold onto those fleeting, beautifully ordinary moments.

I romanticise life a little… even when it’s overwhelming.
Whether it’s packing way too many cameras for a simple outing, or juggling motherhood with everything else, I’ve learned to embrace the chaos instead of waiting for things to feel “perfect.” Because joy isn’t found in perfection, it’s found in being present, in feeling everything, and in choosing to see the beauty in it all.
